Animal Abuse Awareness Flash

I created this ad banner with the hope to spread animal abuse awareness. I believe this will reach anyone who has a heart, and that is who the banner was intended for. The more people who learn about this issue, the closer we will be to ending animal abuse for good.

One of the tools I used for this banner was the magnetic lasso tool. I used this tool to select the background images of the dog. I then used the select inverse tool, and filled the background with black. I did this to bring a darker, sadder affect. Having a black background also makes the abused dog the centerpiece of the photo. I changed the hue and saturation levels towards the green shade, I did this because it gave the dog an ill look. I decreased the lightness of the picture to make it darker. I used the spot healing brush tool to smooth out the wrinkles on the blanket. I used the vibrance tool by decreasing it to give it a bland look. I increased the saturation to draw more attention towards the sick, abused dog. I used the crop tool to adjust the picture size. I used the color adjustment tool by increasing the exposure and increasing the offset. I increased gamma correction. I used the stamp tool to blend the colors. I used the paint bucket tool to give the background of my ad banner a color instead of leaving it blank. I used the classic tween tool and I also used the text tool to give my banner a message.
